During a grand ceremony held at the Port Said Governorate General Office, in collaboration with the Port Said Governorate and the Mishkat Nour Foundation for Knowledge and Cultural Enlightenment, Major General Adel El-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, received the families receiving priority care. The families were examined by the committee formed to investigate cases eligible for payment of comprehensive health insurance subscriptions and payment of rent arrears for government housing in the Zahour and suburban districts. The meeting was attended by Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Nour Foundation; Major General Mohamed Husseini, Director of the Executive Authority of the Free Zone; Dr. Nisreen Hassan, Director General of the Port Said Branch of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance; Mohamed Quta, Director of the Information and Citizen Service Center at the Social Insurance Authority; Hala Abu El-Ezz, Head of the Suburbs District; and Fawzy El-Wali, Head of the Zahour District. The Governor of Port Said emphasized that the decision to pay comprehensive health insurance subscriptions and arrears of government housing rents for families in need comes as a gift from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He noted that the President continually provides support to the most needy groups to ease their burdens and provide a decent life. He added that the coming period will witness more meetings with the governorate's most vulnerable groups to listen to their concerns and requests and provide ongoing support to ease their burdens. He emphasized that we all work primarily for the benefit of the citizen, and that our work is purely for the sake of God. He said, "The President always cares about you and urges executives to do their best to serve the citizen." He noted that we are striving to do good things for our children, including development and progress in all areas. He added that he feels great happiness when he sees the governorate's residents strolling in the newly developed parks, experiencing joy and enjoying the city's valiant assets. The governor emphasized the importance of families being aware of the current situation and not being swayed by rumors. Major General Adel El-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, also praised the comprehensive health insurance system during his speech, saying, "The comprehensive health insurance system is the greatest project Port Said has witnessed, as it affects every citizen without exception, especially those with limited incomes." He extended his greetings, thanks, and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his decision to establish the comprehensive health insurance system, starting with Port Said Governorate as the first governorate nationwide. This decision has had a positive impact on improving medical care provided to citizens, eliminating waiting lists, reducing the cost of surgeries, and performing them in Port Said Governorate instead of traveling to other governorates. Major General Adel El-Ghadban praised the role of the Mishkat Nour Foundation in Port Said and its success in reaching families most in need, utilizing its expertise and organized institutional work built on solid foundations to research and classify families, deliver various types of assistance, and convey their complaints to officials without exaggeration, advertising, or worldly purposes. God's pleasure, pointing to the great responsibility placed on the shoulders of officials in Egypt, which is the result of past years during which the nation has suffered from major crises and problems, praising the role of civil society organizations.
Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Nour Foundation for Knowledge and Enlightenment, praised the efforts of the Governor of Port Said since assuming his position, saying, "The Governor of Port Said is the primary champion of development in the governorate, with his continuous support for ideas and projects to improve citizens' lives, including development work in several residential areas in the suburbs district, and his continued support for these projects until we reached the current achievement." She praised the governor's warm welcome when the proposal to pay health insurance subscriptions and rent arrears for the neediest families was presented.
She noted that the Governor of Port Said was the one who requested the lifting of all insurance and rent payments to ease the burden on the shoulders of the neediest citizens. She affirmed her continued praise for the political leadership that feels for its citizens, and that all of us at the Mishkat Foundation do good only for God, without any worldly goals, political purposes, position, or Personal interests, stressing that what is provided to families is one of their most basic rights, and that everyone is working diligently and diligently to serve them and provide all support and assistance, whether social, medical, educational, or otherwise, to help them meet life's necessities and raise their standard of living. She also thanked the members of the committee conducting the family research, as well as the neighborhood heads.
