For the first time, Mishkat Noor Foundation drops 20,000 colorful balloons from the Emirati and Lotfi Shabara Mosques after Eid al-Adha prayers
In a joyful atmosphere, the Mishkat Noor Foundation for Knowledge and Cultural Enlightenment participated in the Eid al-Adha celebrations of the people of Port Said, as usual, by dropping colorful balloons from the top of the mosque after the Eid prayers, amidst the joy of worshippers, especially children.
For the first time, the Foundation organized two events at the same time. The first was attended by Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, and popular and executive leaders. The Foundation celebrated Eid in the Emirati neighborhood, south of Port Said, by dropping 10,000 colorful balloons from the top of the neighborhood mosque.
This was the first time since the establishment of the new neighborhood, amidst celebrations and joy from the residents of the neighborhood, who welcomed these celebrations with great joy and competed to take photos with the Major General, Governor of Port Said, who was keen to greet the citizens who welcomed him. The second event, as the foundation has always done for holidays, was held at the Lotfi Shabara Mosque in the Sharq neighborhood. The mosque's courtyard witnessed the presence of thousands of worshippers, their joy complete with the Eid celebrations, as they awaited the waterfall of colorful balloons dropped from the tops of nearby buildings. This tradition is a regular feature of the foundation's celebrations. Ten thousand colorful balloons were released, accompanied by a puppet theater that everyone enjoyed. The city had previously witnessed large celebrations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
