In celebration of the Day of Arafah and following the example of Muslims of all nationalities and ethnicities, the International Students Education Development Center hosts a group iftar for more than 1,000 students in cooperation with the Mishkat Nour Al-Ilm Wal Tanweer Cultural Foundation. Following the directives of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, and His Eminence Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, and the keenness of Professor Dr. Nahla El-Saeedi, Head of the International and Foreign Students Education Development Center and Advisor to the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar for International Affairs, to care for international students, provide them with all means necessary to ensure their peace and stability, especially as they spend Eid al-Adha away from their families, the International and Foreign Students Education Development Center, in cooperation with the Mishkat Nour Al-Ilm Wal Tanweer Cultural Foundation, held a group iftar for more than 1,000 international students. The Iftar banquet, held at the Center's headquarters, celebrated the Day of Arafah, the holiest day of Hajj, and followed the example of the gathering of over two million Muslims of all nationalities and ethnicities in one place. Our international students of various nationalities and ethnicities also gathered at a single banquet to strengthen their bonds of love, compassion, and unity.
