Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal: We are keen to serve our needy people in partnership with the governorate.
For the third consecutive week, Major General Adel El-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, inaugurated today the medical convoy organized by the Mishkat Nour Foundation for Science and Cultural Enlightenment, in cooperation with the Health Care and Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority and the Port Said Health Affairs Directorate, under the auspices of the Port Said Governorate. The convoy was held at the Umm Khalaf Youth Center in the village of Umm Khalaf, south of Port Said. Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chairperson of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, accompanied the Governor.
The convoy includes several specialized clinics, including cardiology, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, dermatology, orthopedics, and ENT. Vehicles from the "100 Million Health" presidential initiative are also available to measure blood pressure, blood sugar, height, and weight, and to perform early breast cancer screening for women. In addition, customer service departments are available to receive health insurance complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. The governor inspected the various clinics and vehicles of the presidential initiative, and met with and engaged with residents of the area. He expressed his happiness at the medical convoys' arrival to the most remote areas of Port Said and the large turnout for the free checkups. Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal urged the Mishkat Nour Foundation to continue its role in various areas of the governorate. The convoy will continue for two days. The foundation has organized two medical convoys in the past two weeks: the first to the Al-Qabouti Youth Center for residents of the Al-Dawahi neighborhood, and the second to the Al-Zohour Youth Center for residents of the Al-Zohour neighborhood.
