The Mishkat Nour Foundation for Knowledge and Cultural Enlightenment organized a free medical convoy today in the Rawda area of Sayeda Zeinab, Cairo, in cooperation with the British University, to serve the residents of the Sayeda Zeinab area in the Rawda district. The free dental convoy, the first of its kind in the area, was a great success in all directions, reaching hundreds of beneficiaries, both adults and children, throughout the day.
The dental convoy included more than thirty doctors, both male and female, in various dental specialties. The convoy was divided into several clinics to cover all specialties, such as diagnostics, general dental examinations, fillings, extractions, cleanings, and surgical extractions. The convoy did not stop at examinations, extractions, and fillings; it also focused on measuring blood sugar and blood pressure, dispensing medication to beneficiaries, and distributing the required treatment to patients after examination. The convoy also brought a first-of-its-kind early disease detection device. Awareness seminars were held for the area's residents to raise awareness of the importance of dental hygiene and how to use toothpaste and a toothbrush daily, how to avoid neglecting them, and how to shed light on the negative consequences of dental neglect.
In addition, a Mishkat Noor awareness puppet theater was set up to entertain the children of the Rawdah neighborhood during dental checkups. At the end of the event, toothpaste and a toothbrush were distributed to each child, along with various sweets and toys distributed to the children of the area, and ready-to-eat meals provided by Takaya Mishkat, leaving a wonderful impression on everyone.
The Mishkat Noor Foundation extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the British University and its medical team for their fruitful cooperation in serving the residents of the Rawdah neighborhood.
The Foundation also extends its sincere thanks to the Rawdah neighborhood administration for providing all the facilities for the Mishkat Noor Foundation's dental medical convoy.
