Dr. Nour El-Huda El-Gammal welcomes the partnership with the Sudanese Isnad Initiative and promises to educate children and train women.
Through the "Ethics Kiosk" project, the Mishkat Noor Foundation for Science and Cultural Enlightenment, in cooperation with the Sudanese Isnad Initiative, organized an artistic and cultural event titled "One Heart" in Cairo. This event is part of the September Ethics Month activities launched by the Foundation four years ago to instill ethical principles in our Arab societies.
The event was attended by Dr. Nour El-Huda El-Gammal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Noor Foundation; His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Hassan Ali, Chairman of the Sudan Isnad Initiative and former Secretary-General of the League of Arab States; Her Excellency Minister Dr. Amira El-Fadil, Secretary-General of the Initiative; and the Commissioner for Social Affairs at the African Union and former Minister of Welfare. Hundreds of Egyptians, Sudanese, Palestinians, and Syrians residing in Egypt were also in attendance. A musical and theatrical operetta featuring more than 40 children from Egypt, Palestine, Sudan, and Syria was performed, expressing Arab unity and solidarity among peoples, as Egypt welcomes its Arab brothers and sisters suffering from the scourge of war.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Hassan Ali, who expressed his deep gratitude to Egypt, its leadership, and its people in general, and the Mishkat Noor Foundation in particular, for welcoming its Sudanese brothers and sisters and embracing them in their second homeland, where they feel no alienation. He praised the partnership with the Mishkat Noor Foundation in assisting the recently established Isnad Initiative, which has witnessed significant development over the past period, transforming it into the Isnad Arab Countries Support Initiative, not just Sudan, to support and assist the peoples of Arab countries suffering from the scourge of war, such as Palestine and Syria. He added that the Mishkat Noor Foundation has adopted the initiative and will witness significant progress in its participation in the coming period. He praised the slogan raised by Dr. Nour Al-Huda Al-Gammal, "One Heart," as the Arab world is one heart, and its heart is Egypt, the mother of the world.
For her part, Minister Dr. Amira Al-Fadil extended her sincere thanks and greetings to the Egyptian people who warmly welcomed their Sudanese brothers and sisters. She also expressed her gratitude for the support they received from the Mishkat Noor Foundation, led by Dr. Nour Al-Huda Al-Gammal, at every level, and for helping them integrate Sudanese into Egyptian society. She added that she will seek to expand cooperation to include service, social, educational, and development projects, as well as children's education and Mishkat Takaya (People's Takaya). She added that after the war in Sudan ends, she will return bearing the love of Egypt and the Egyptian experience in terms of knowledge, skill, and expertise, and will apply this experience in Sudan. In her address to hundreds of attendees, Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Mishkat Noor Foundation, welcomed all attendees from various Arab countries, including Sudan, Palestine, and Syria, to their homeland, Egypt. She expressed her hope for an end to all wars and conflicts in Arab countries and the return of peace and stability to all siblings. She emphasized her commitment to the presence of Arab brothers in Egypt and their continued support for its people, especially since it is the homeland of every Arab. She expressed her happiness at the recent partnership between the Mishkat Noor Foundation and the Sudanese Isnad Initiative to support and assist the brotherly Sudanese people, and the cooperation demonstrated by the initiative for the benefit of both the Egyptian and Sudanese peoples. She emphasized that the event organized by the Foundation as part of the September Ethics Month initiative, titled "One Heart," is part of the initiative launched by the Foundation four years ago. Each year, it presents a new value, and this year, we are presenting the value of diligence. She pointed out that the Ethics Kiosk project, which includes numerous programs focused on sustainable development, will support the education and training of women in handicrafts, preparing them for the labor market. It will also open up various areas for the development, education, and culture of our Arab brothers and sisters, especially children, who represent our most important goal: building an aware, educated, and cultured generation. At the conclusion of the event, Mahmoud Al-Hafni Sultan, a religious chanter on radio and television, performed a religious chant with the participation of hundreds of attendees who interacted with him and sang numerous hymns, most notably "Qamar," a song dedicated to the love of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
