Mishkat Nour Foundation Celebrates October Victories and the Prophet's Birthday with a Chanting Concert by the Al-Hadra Band
Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal Launches Egypt's Orphan Sponsorship Project from Port Said
The Mishkat Nour Foundation for Knowledge and Cultural Enlightenment, led by Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, organized a celebration at the Cultural Center in Port Said to celebrate the Prophet's Birthday and the glorious October Victories. The celebration was attended by the Al-Hadra Chanting Band, hundreds of leaders, public and popular figures, and residents of the Al-Dawahi and Al-Zahour neighborhoods served by the Foundation.
The celebration began with the national anthem and the recitation of the Holy Quran. In her speech, Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal welcomed the public figures and residents of Port Said, specifically mentioning the residents of Al-Zahour and the suburbs served by the Foundation. The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees announced the launch of a new project, the first steps of which have been taken by the Mishkat Nour Foundation. The project, which sponsors orphans in their homes, provides educational and healthcare services in various governorates of the Republic, starting with Port Said and Cairo, to ensure the development of educated and aware generations capable of serving our beloved country.
She noted that the Egyptian Orphan Sponsorship Program will join the Foundation's diverse activities, including the Ethics Kiosk Project, which aims to achieve sustainable development. This project has seen great success in the Al-Zohour, Al-Dawahi, and Port Fouad neighborhoods, including the reconstruction of the Labana, Fatima Al-Zahraa, Al-Amal, and Khadija areas, continuing education, behavior modification, crafts, detergent manufacturing, and home hospices, as well as social and medical assistance, among other services provided by Mishkat Nour.
Dr. Nour concluded her speech by thanking everyone who extends a helping hand to our wealthy families and works to improve their conditions, praising the Foundation's work team for setting a model of civic action in service of the nation. A handicrafts exhibition, "Smartness of Egypt," was held, with a large number of Mishkat Noor exhibitors showcasing their various artworks.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal honored the outstanding students from the foundation's private Ethics School and presented them with certificates of appreciation, to the delight of their parents.
