At the beginning of the four-day event, Ms. Basma Abu Sitta opened the initiative by welcoming the Sudanese residents in Egypt. She added that the initiative launched by the Mishkat Noor Foundation in cooperation with the Isnad Association and the Gang Training Foundation is the beginning of a major joint effort between the parties. It includes numerous activities, the first of which is economic empowerment, teaching women how to make various types of cleaning products, exhibitions distributing thousands of clothes and shoes, workshops for developing children's skills, an awareness-raising puppet theater, and the launch of a home-based charity program for women. In her speech, Ms. Mona Abdullah commended the attendees for their participation in these events and spoke about the role of the partnership between the Isnad Association, the Mishkat Noor Foundation, and the Gang Foundation, which seeks to serve our Sudanese people affected by the war in Egypt.
She also thanked the people and government of the Arab Republic of Egypt for the warm welcome they received from their Sudanese guests, welcoming them to their second home, Egypt.
In his speech, Dr. Jaafar Mohammed Abdel Rab welcomed the students, mothers, and citizens of the Giza and Osman regions, emphasizing the eternal ties and shared interests that bind the two peoples. He also touched on the distinguished partnership that brought together the three organizations (Mishkat Noor, Isnad, and Gang), which resulted in this great effort represented by training workshops on the manufacture of various types of detergents, a charity clothing and shoe exhibition, and an awareness-raising puppet theater, accompanied by drawing and coloring activities for the participating children. The partnership will continue to implement other agreed-upon projects in the coming days, God willing. The event was attended by a large number of Sudanese women and their children, especially the awareness-raising puppet theater segments, which were joined by the "One Heart" performances featuring Sudanese, Palestinian, and Syrian characters, telling the story of the Egyptians, Sudanese, Palestinians, and Syrians united under one heart, Egypt.
