Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal Witnesses the Signing of a Cooperation Protocol Between Mishkat Nour Foundation and the Egyptian Red Crescent

The main objective of this cooperation is to serve and develop the community, support the most vulnerable families, and provide relief to the people of Palestine.

Dr. Nour El-Hoda El-Gammal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, attended the signing of a cooperation protocol between Mishkat Nour Foundation and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society in Port Said. The agreement aims to foster joint collaboration in humanitarian and community service fields for the benefit of Egyptian society as a whole, while extending assistance to the people of Palestine in particular.

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Egyptian Red Crescent in Port Said, in the presence of Dr. El-Gammal. The protocol was signed by Ms. Basma Abu Sitta, CEO of Mishkat Nour Foundation, and Dr. Essam El-Hindi, Chairman of the Red Crescent branch in Port Said, with Ms. Banan Abu Leila, Regional Director of the Foundation, also attending.

Under this protocol, both organizations will work together to serve Egyptian society in various service, educational, and cultural fields, in addition to cooperating on aid and relief efforts for sister nations—especially Palestine—following the recent aggression against Gaza.

Mishkat Nour Foundation implements several educational, cultural, social, and medical programs designed to empower citizens, develop skills, improve behavior, and provide vocational education that prepares individuals for the labor market. The foundation’s work is particularly focused on resettlement areas and among the most underprivileged families. Its activities span several governorates, including Cairo, Port Said, Sohag, Luxor, Ismailia, and others.

For its part, the Egyptian Red Crescent is one of the oldest charitable associations in Egypt. It provides assistance, training, and capacity-building for citizens in various humanitarian and community service fields, as well as aid to friendly and sister nations. It plays a pivotal role in supporting the people of Palestine and delivering humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip.
